Reports to: Suz Figini, Facility Rental Coordinator 

Position Description: Follow the direction of the Facility Rental Coordinator to ensure renters have a safe and well-run event, while also ensuring school property is maintained and ready for future use. Duties include but are not limited to arming/disarming the building, setting up equipment for renters, and ensuring renters only use expected areas/equipment as outlined in the contract. Ensure renters follow building expectations and report any damage to the supervisor immediately. Maintaining the safety and security of the building and event is a high priority for this position. This position does not follow a predictable schedule. This is an as-needed position. 

 Wages & Hours: $25.00/hr.

This is an “At Will” position (NO CONTRACT).

Specific Requirements:

• Custodian experience is desirable but not mandatory
• Must have good attention to detail 
• Must be able to cooperate with staff and the public
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and adults using the building 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Bilingual applicants desired but not required 
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality 
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds 
• Meet OCSD hiring requirements
