Position Description:
The individual accepting this assignment will teach physical education at the elementary school level (grades K-5).

Must communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.

Will teach Physical Education to elementary classes.

Must work effectively with students of varying abilities.
Special Requirements: (Licensure, training, specialty skills or previous experience)
1. Valid Oregon teaching license appropriate to the assignment.
2. Physical Education endorsement required.
3. Bilingual applicants desired, but not required.
4. Provide structure and leadership to facilitate physical education curriculum
change and assist in identifying physical education curricular needs.
5. Provide advice and consultation in regard to District policy formation and priorities as they affect physical education.
6. Ability to work well with other staff, students, and parents.
7. Commitment to equitable and inclusive practices for all students. A
dedication to their own professional growth and their staff and community in congruence with the district equity policy.

This position is 0.8 FTE; 191 days per year.
